Gamsat for Australian post-graduate entry to twelve Medical Schools, one Dental School and one Pharmacy School at Masters level is held in March. Gamsat for Irish post-graduate entry to four Medical Schools and one School of Veterinary Medicine is held in March. Gamsat for post-graduate entry to five UK Medical Schools and to one UK Dental School is held in the UK in September.

Home Study Time-line

Our Home Study Science Revision Course is available throughout the year. Our Home Study Practising MCQs Course is available for Gamsat AU and IE candidates from mid-November to mid-March and for Gamsat UK candidates from mid-April to mid-September.

If preparing for Australian or Irish entry, complete the first essay of Writing Better Essays and send the essay to us by 15 January to have 15 essays corrected prior to GAMSAT or by 15 February to have 7 essays corrected prior to GAMSAT.
If you are late in starting, get as many essays done as you can.

If preparing for UK entry, complete the first essay of Writing Better Essays and send the essay to us by 15 July to have 15 essays corrected prior to GAMSAT or by 15 August to have 7 essays corrected prior to GAMSAT.
If you are late in starting, get as many essays done as you can.

Aim to finish the first four essay tasks by mid-February (for Australian or Irish entry) or by mid-August (for UK entry).

Complete the final four essay tasks of Writing Better Essays by mid-March (for Australian or Irish entry) or by mid-September (for UK entry).

Home Study Costs

Our pre-GAMSAT courses: Writing Better Essays, Science Revision Course and Practising MCQs Courseare all available by Home Study and prepare candidates for all versions of the Gamsat. You can purchase the courses separately but the postage to addresses outside Australia is cheaper if you buy them as a package.

There are two packages: the Silver and the Bronze.

The price of our Home Study Silver Package of all three courses with 15 of your essays corrected is AU$880, £560, 690 Euros, US$935.

The price of our Home Study Bronze Package of all three courses with 7 of your essays corrected is AU$660, £435, 535 Euros, US$725.

The prices in British pounds, Euros and US dollars include international express postage, our bank charges for international currency exchange and handling. The prices in Australian dollars include postage and handling within Australia. Those who pay on credit card make their payment in Australian dollars. However, if the package of materials is sent to an overseas address, they need to add to the total fee AU$50 for postage to NZ, AU$60 for postage to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong (i.e. Asia Pacific) or AU$95 to elsewhere in the world.

The stand-alone price of our Writing Better Essays course with 15 essays corrected is AU$440, £265, 330 Euros, US$445. The stand-alone cost of our Writing Better Essays course with 7 essays corrected is AU$220, £140, 175 Euros, US$235. Postage and bank costs are included if you pay by cheque in British pounds, Euros or US dollars. Those who pay by credit card make the payment in Australian dollars and need to add to this stand-alone price AU$15 for postage to NZ, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong (i.e. NZ & Asia Pacific) or AU$20 to elsewhere in the world.

The stand-alone price of our Home Study Science Revision course is AU$220, £175, 215 Euros, US$290. Postage and bank costs are included if you pay by cheque in British pounds, Euros or US dollars. Those who pay by credit card make the payment in Australian dollars and need to add to this stand-alone price AU$40 for postage to NZ, AU$50 for postage to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong (i.e. Asia Pacific) or AU$75 to elsewhere in the world.

The stand-alone price of our Practising MCQs course is AU$220, £175, 215 Euros, US$290. Postage and bank costs are included if you pay by cheque in British pounds, Euros or US dollars. Those who pay by credit card make the payment in Australian dollars and need to add to this stand-alone price AU$40 for postage to NZ, AU$50 for postage to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong (i.e. Asia Pacific) or AU$75 to elsewhere in the world.

The enrolment form can be sent, on request, by email and you are required to enroll by filling in our enrolment form and returning it by airmail. Please use a standard business DL size envelope for its return by airmail as larger C4 (A4 or letter size) envelopes are often treated as parcel post and take more than the customary three days to arrive.

The first essay task, our science summary, the Prognostic Preparatory Test and the cost of individual courses as well as an enrolment form are in our free mailout which is sent to you by airmail.
