Gamsat is conducted by ACER on behalf of several consortia of Universities.

Gamsat must be taken in March by candidates for graduate entry to Medicine with University College Dublin, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University College Cork, University of Limerick and for entry to Veterinary Science at University College Dublin.

The first Gamsat IE was held in 2005. However, Gamsat Apast papers are not available.
