I am totally elated with the news and am just writing to tell you that I know I wouldn’t have done as well in the Gamsat and Interview without your fantastic workshops. If I was to give any advice to aspiring graduate medical students it would be this:
• Know why you want to study medicine, believe in yourself and work towards an excellent GPA.
• In the essay section of Gamsat and in the interview: be honest and true to your beliefs. Your best, most cohesive writing and your most inspiring presentations emerge when you genuinely express yourself, not when you try to second guess the personal opinions of assessors.
• Attend Des 0'Neill’s science revision and exam preparation workshops. They will thoroughly prepare you for the format of the Gamsat. I found the practice sessions and tests in the workshops really useful in learning how to pace myself for the exam.

Deakin
